Noam Chomsky

This film is about the poiltical life and ideas of Noam Chomsky, it expands on the life of his book that he wrote a while back. The film presents the thesis of coprate media. They surve and further the agandas, and the dominate elite groups. A centerpiece of the film is a long examination of the history of the New York Times coverage. The mass media is as a system for communicating messages and symbols to the general populace. I liked this movie because it tells you about the political life and the ideas of Noam Chomsky throughout his life.

5 Tactic

1st ad that I saw on tv was the Bud Light commercial where everybody is drinking the beer and trying to get others to drink it as well. Trying to get them to jump on the bandwagon to go with the others in the commerical. There was also a transfer in the commerical because they are trying to say that Bud Light is better then any other beer. There is also a salience when they say "Always refreshing" and keep repeating that.

2nd ad that I saw on tv was the gatorade commerical with Joe Mauer. There could be testimonal because gatorade is using Joe Mauer to make the audenice go and get it because it will do what it did to him. Another tactic is jumping on the bandwagon. There trying to get you to buy it because Joe Mauer is drinking it and whatever it does to him it will do it to you. They also use starwman becasue they say gatorade might be better then any other kind of drink like pop or gatorade.

Advertisments

This is an african american that is a really good basektaball player. Hes at a young age and is facial expresion is like foucosed. The camara that took this shot was below him and he had to be zoomed in because you can see the basketaball court. The lighting as to be natural because there isent any thing that doesnt show on any part of the picture. They made the background fadded out a little bit and made it more on the player. There is alot of colors that are used, like there are mostly black for the crowd but they have all the colors as normal as they would be if it wasent a picture. There are a few sayings in the picture and they are all white to make the print stand out.
The product that is being sold is nike. You can find it appeling because the picture is showing what the nike stuff can do to you. The targer for this ad is probably for the younger to adults. Feelings would be happy to make it for them.
It can make for the men or woman so they can feel more powerful.
Some of  the consequences would be the shoes would ware out or something would happen to whatever thing that you have is nike.

There is no people in this advertisment and there is no race or anything like that. The camara was right in front of this picture. The lighting might have been a little fadded in the wording but they make the gatorade bottle stand out and the symbol for it. There are alot of reds and the whole background would be a solid black. The text looks good and it stands out to you because its nice and big.
The product that is being sold would be gatorade and it appeals to you as to making you want a red gatorade or any kind of them. The taget could be towards anybody that likes gatorade. The feelings would be good if you could get your hands on one. Some possible consquences would be drinking to much and haveing to not feel good at all.

There are no people that are in this ad. The camara angle had to be direcrtly in front of it and it was lower then the actually picture. The lighting would be natural. there are no glares or anything to make the picture look and differnt except for the fire that is coming out of the coke. The colors that are being used are black, white, red, orange and a little silver. There are a few words in the picture and the color of that is white. the product that is being sold is coke and it is appealing because it shows what can happen if you were to drink that kind of coke. The target of this ad could be towards anybody that likes coke. The feelings could make you happy or they can make you sad by however you take the coke. some consequeces that could take place are drinking to much you could get a headach or whatever.
